Hello! It’s Robito again. I have wonderful news! Our ToyVoyager friend, Rosemary, has finally come home. We are very happy! Rosemary had been in the Netherlands with her last host for over a year, and we despaired of ever seeing her again. She left on a trip around Europe on October 2007, and Palmito and I had not seen her since.
Just a couple of days ago, a little box wrapped in colorful paper arrived in the mail, and to our great and very pleasant surprise, it was Rosemary!

Rosemary wasn’t alone during her trip back home: her kind hosts, Tessa and Wendy, gave her a little companion, an adorable bunny named Grace, to keep her company. Grace is very sweet and shy!

Rosemary then showed us a nice postcard that Tess and Wendy sent, along with her travel diary. The diary was full of pretty collages, photos and signatures from the places where Rosemary stayed. Her hosts were all very kind and thoughtful and worked hard to make it look beautiful. We all admired it!

Now that Rosemary is home, our mentor has put all of us together on top of the books next to her bed. Rosemary sure is glad to be home –right now, she doesn’t ever want to leave again!

Hey, everyone. It’s Robito again.
Palmito and I haven’t been going anywhere lately, but today I accompanied my mentor when she went out to do the laundry. The sun was setting and the view at the bay was so lovely, that we took a picture:

We have still not heard from poor Rosemary –she’s still in The Netherlands as far as we know. Our mentor told me today she plans to send Rosemary’s host a postcard begging for her safe return. We sure do miss her and keep hoping she’ll come back to us one day!

Hello! Robito here. After being stuffed in my mentor’s backpack for days, accompanying her wherever she went but never actually seeing anything myself, I finally –finally!– got to have a little fun.
Yesterday my mentor, her friend and I went to the movies together. Actually, first we went to Toys “R” Us, where my mentor bought a couple of Littlest Pet Shop figurines, and afterward to Lollicup Coffee and Tea, but since I have been to that place many times and had my picture taken there already, I stayed in my mentor’s bag during that time.
After this we went to Dolphin mall. We bought our tickets to see Hellboy II, and sat to wait for a while, because we were very early.

The table had a very nice view of the mall below. It was very busy and noisy.

I wanted to lean over the rail to look at the people, but my mentor didn’t let me. She feared I might fall, as the table was very wobbly.

Although this area looks somewhat empty, the place was full and some of the most popular movies had long lines. Thankfully, there was no long wait to get our popcorn and drinks. Afterward, we went to find us some good seats at the movie theater.

We were the first ones to get there. I had never been inside a movie theater before! My mentor’s friend was kind enough to let me sit on his arm.

They shared some popcorn with me, too!

During the movie, I sat on the armrest next to my mentor’s drink (I drank most of it, actually.)

Then we went home. I had a good time! I was glad it was just me for a change, and not a large group of ToyVoyagers. For once, I got all the attention.

Nice, I get to write the first post! Let’s get this started. =)
(By the way, clicking on a ToyVoyager’s name will take you to that toy’s travelog.)
Our most recent trip was with a whole group of ToyVoyagers, which were being hosted by our mentor’s friend, Crystal. We went to one of our mentor’s (and her friend’s) favorite places, a Lollicup branch that is right in front of FIU South Campus. It is also a BookCrossing zone in here.

Our mentor always orders the Taro tea, which we get to share with her. She never tries anything new! Taro tastes really good with Oreo cookies, though.

Here we are with Muki and Candy Cotton.

We posed for a group pic (but Robito was drinking already –geez!) In the photo with us are Muki, Candy Cotton, Floppers and another bunny ToyVoyager (the green one) which I don’t remember the name of.

A lady became interested in what we were all doing and wanted to take a photo of Crystal with all of us ToyVoyagers. Later the lady introduced Robito to her baby. Unfortunately babies make Robito nervous, so he didn’t like this very much. We teased him about it later. Serves him right!

It’s just Muki and me. Muki was such a friendly, easygoing guy!
That’s all for now! Robito will probably be writing the next update.
