ToyVoyagers are toys (usually, but not always, stuffed toys or plushies) traveling around the globe using people to help them on their journey. Each ToyVoyager has a travel tag with a unique ID number which is linked to a travelog on the ToyVoyagers website (http://www.toyvoyagers.com.) There, the toy’s journey and all the places it has visited are tracked and recorded for everyone to see.
A ToyVoyager can be passed (mailed) from host to host, or released to the wild for someone to find it (it works a little bit like Bookcrossing.) In either case, the host or whoever finds the toy updates its travelog to say which places the toy has visited and when, and then either mails it to the next host, or releases it again in the wild.
But, there’s nothing as fun as registering your very own Toyvoyager and showing it around yourself, or sending it out to other countries to see the world and make new friends!
About This Blog
I’ve always toyed with the idea of having a blog for my TV’s, after seeing other people on the ToyVoyagers website do the same. Especially since these days I have become so attached to my toys that I prefer to show them around myself rather than mail them to other people. I’ll try my best to keep this blog and my toys’ travelogs on the website equally up-to-date!
